Common questions
How do I log something?
Say it or type it, the way you’d tell a friend: “two eggs and toast”, “200 g salmon and my usual rice”, “a flat white”. On iPhone you can also snap a photo of your plate or a label. YumLog logs it straight away and says what it assumed.
It got something wrong. How do I fix it?
Tell it: “make that 150 g”, “that was lunch, not dinner”, or just “undo”. You can also tap any entry on Today to change or delete it.
How do I use it on Apple Watch?
Open YumLog, tap the mic and speak; it stops listening when you do. For one tap from the watch face, add YumLog’s “Log Food” or “Calories Left” complication when you edit a face. On Apple Watch Ultra, you can set the Action button to YumLog’s Voice Log shortcut in the watch’s Settings, under Action Button. Voice logging needs a connection, through your iPhone or Wi-Fi.
What can I say to Siri?
“Log food in YumLog”, then say what you ate. “YumLog calories left” to hear what’s left today. “Start a voice log in YumLog” to open YumLog already listening.
How does Apple Health work with YumLog?
Turn it on in YumLog under Profile › Apple Health. Your meals (calories, protein, carbs and fat) and weigh-ins go to Health, and weigh-ins from a scale that writes to Health come into YumLog. To change what YumLog can read or write, open the Health app, tap your picture, then Apps, then YumLog.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
In your iPhone’s Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then YumLog. Cancel at least 24 hours before it renews. Deleting the app or your account doesn’t cancel it. For a refund, ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I delete my account?
In YumLog, go to Profile › Delete Account. Everything we hold about you goes straight away: your log, weigh-ins, usuals, recipes, notes, conversations, photos and account. What YumLog wrote to Apple Health stays there until you delete it in the Health app. To also remove YumLog from Sign in with Apple, open Settings, tap your name, then Sign in with Apple.
What do I need to use YumLog?
An iPhone with iOS 26 and an internet connection. An Apple Watch with watchOS 26 is optional but the quickest way to log.
